Parent Teacher Group

St. Teresa of Avila Parent Teacher Group

The Parent Teacher Group (PTG) provides support to the faculty and staff of the school, serves as a voice for parents and offers community-building opportunities for the mutual benefit of the children, parents, and educators.  All parents, guardians, and educators of St. Teresa School are welcome members.  Meetings are held quarterly during the school year and there is no cost to join.  We encourage everyone to be an active member to the St. Teresa of Avila PTG.

Upcoming Events

CRAFT FAIR: Scheduled for Sunday, November 26 from 10:30-1:00 in the undercroft. We are currently seeking crafters and vendors to make this a successful event. If you are interested in renting a booth, please contact us at [email protected] or Register here. Plan to attend and start your holiday shopping…for them, or for YOU!

Volunteers

“One of the greatest gifts you can give is the gift of your time.”

Volunteers are needed in many capacities throughout the year.  Our only requirement is that you are SafeParish compliant.

Fundraising

WALK-A-THON

Held annually, this fundraiser is our largest effort.  Personal and business sponsorship opportunities are available. The PTG Board does the majority of the organizing and parent volunteers are needed on the day of the walk.  The students look forward to this event every year!

FALL FLOWER SALE

Each Fall we sell a beautiful assortment of Mums, Pansies, and Ornamental Cabbage and Kale. We look forward to being a part of your Fall landscape!

RESTAURANT NIGHTS

Generous restaurants like F&N Goode Chicken, Chipotle, Frisch’s, and Chick-fil-A provide opportunities for St. Teresa patrons to dine and they donate a portion of the proceeds back to us.  Stay tuned for the next restaurant night!

ADDITIONAL FUNDRAISERS

Additional fundraisers are held throughout the year that may include Penny Wars, Magazine Sales, Little Ceasar’s Pizza or other Food Item Sales.  We always appreciate your support of these fundraising efforts.

Thank You for Supporting Our Annual Walk-A-Thon!

Thank you for your support of our annual St. Teresa School Walk-A-Thon! The Walk-A-Thon is an important school-wide, community fundraiser with 100% of the profit going to support the school through the Parent Teacher Group. Besides being financially beneficial to the school, the Walk-a-Thon promotes school spirit and emphasizes the benefits of exercise for the students. We thank you for your support of our efforts!

Thank you to all who donated and helped facilitate the 2023 Walk-A-Thon. It was an incredible success surpassing our principal’s goal, raising over $11,000 and earning the students an out-of-school day on February 12, 2024!

WALK-A-THON

It’s more than a walk-a-thon—it’s a day where every moment matters. We build teamwork, school spirit, friendships, community, and more!
